FBD returning motor insurance premiums as vouchers to customers

FBD Insurance understands the importance of supporting customers and communities during this exceptional event. Travel restrictions imposed during Covid-19 are expected to result in fewer motor claims.

FBD has announced that travel restrictions imposed during Covid-19 are expected to result in fewer motor claims the expected and it has assured that savings will be returned directly to our customers. A €35 One4all voucher will be issued to all insurance customers who hold an FBD standard private car, commercial van or jeep policy as of March 31st 2020. Customers will receive their voucher in the post over the coming weeks and there is no need for further action on their part. FBD will review our refund policy if extended Covid19 restrictions on movement result in sustained lower road usage and claims frequency through the summer period.

John Cahalan, Chief Commercial Officer of FBD, said “FBD Insurance is proud to support our customers during this challenging time. By rebating customers directly with a One4all voucher, FBD customers can support local charities, businesses and services where help is most needed. This measure will see FBD Insurance return €7 million back to our loyal customers.”

FBD is open for business and we encourage customers experiencing difficulties or who have queries or concerns to contact their local branch, or our sales centre 01 7617 617 or visit www.fbd.ie.
