Toyota Ireland has announced that the new Land Cruiser commercial model will be available for June arrival. As the first new model in 15 years, this latest version claims to combine retro aesthetics with cutting-edge technology and raw power, making it a standout choice for drivers tackling rugged, off-road terrain. The commercial model is priced from €57,192 ex VAT.
Built for the toughest terrains, the Land Cruiser is renowned for its quality, durability, and reliability. The all-new model enhances these attributes with a 2.8L diesel engine, a redesigned turbocharger, and an advanced eight-speed automatic transmission, ensuring a smoother and more efficient driving experience both on and off-road.
The Land Cruiser can now tow up to 3.5 tonnes (matching the towing capacity of the Toyota Hilux), making it the ideal choice for drivers requiring a vehicle that can take on tough challenges. The introduction of electric power steering replaces the former hydraulic system, improving off-road handling while enabling lane assist as part of Toyota’s renowned Safety Sense system.
The intelligent cockpit ensures seamless connectivity between your car and smartphone via the MyToyota App, allowing drivers to check trip data and even control remote air conditioning. Additionally, the Land Cruiser comes with Wireless Smartphone Integration (Apple CarPlay™ & Android Auto™), a rear-view camera with washer, and front & rear parking sensors for enhanced safety.
For the new Land Cruiser, Toyota is offering a 3 years or 100,000km manufacturer’s warranty, along with a 3 years/unlimited mileage surface rust/paintwork warranty and 12 years/unlimited mileage corrosion perforation warranty.
