With its focus on comfort, quality, design and functionality, the cabin of the Mazda CX-5 competes with the very best cars in the class by delivering a premium feel throughout.
As in all of the latest generation of Mazda cars, the cabin architecture has been designed to create an intelligently configured cockpit layout for the driver, with all major controls and instrumentation laid out ergonomically around the focal point of the steering wheel.
For the 2020 Mazda CX-5, the size of the Mazda Connect display screen atop the dashboard has been increased to 8-inches to allow for larger, clearer navigation system texts and icons and an enlarged 360 degree monitor view. A new display function has been added to the Mazda Connect fuel efficiency monitor which allows drivers to check the status of the cylinder deactivation system in real time.
The ambience of the CX-5 interior has been enhanced by the adoption of high quality LED lighting to the overhead console, centre cabin lamp and cargo lamp, fitted as standard throughout the model range. New black, half-leatherette seats are now available with special version models. They feature a suede fabric seat centre and leatherette trimmed edges which reproduce the texture and feel of natural leather as closely as possible.
Finally, the design of the key fob has been changed as a symbol of Mazda entering a new era.
