The latest combine harvester figures Farm Tractor & Machinery Trade Association (FTMTA) show a relatively strong market in 2020 with 40 new combines registered. This equates to an average annual registration level over the last nine years of 41 units per year.
While 2103 and 2014 were high points in the combine harvester market with registrations of 65 and 61 units respectively, this year’s market is more typical of what is now accepted as the average size for the Irish combine harvester market, which reached a low point in 2017 with just 20 new combine harvesters registered in the 26 counties.
