The new 7 Series Deutz-Fahr TTV aims for lower running costs

The new 7-Series TTV by Deutz-Fahr includes the 7250 TTV and 7250 TTV HD, which offer greater comfort and higher traction force paired with highest efficiency through the new SDF TTV Compound Transmission.

So confident is Deutz-Fahr of the 7-Series high quality, reliability and lowest running cost too, that the engine oil replacement interval has been increased to 1000hrs, while the transmission has been increased to 2000hrs.

The Deutz TCD 6.1 Stage V engine now offers up to 247HP and a maximum torque of 1072Nm. The new SDF TTV Compound Transmission – equipped with the PowerZero function and the well-known PowerShuttle – ensures amazing pulling performance and highest acceleration, while reaching 60kph at less than 1800 engine rpm (40kph @ less than 1200 engine rpm).

The TTV transmissions offer the perfect combination of two extremely efficient hydrostatic units paired with optimized mechanical components. The new powertrain guarantees extreme robustness through a high mechanical power flow in typical working conditions at low and high speeds.

Larger diameter rear tyres (2.05m) are now available for the new 7-Series TTV and the payload has been increased to up to 6.5t, with a gross vehicle weight of 15.5t. This increases to 16t with the 7250 HD version. Intelligent front axle suspension is available, as are dry disc brakes, for improved road safety. The turning circle has also been reduced by almost 2m.

A new steeper hood and raised cab, ensures greater all round visibility. The front 5450kg lift capacity can be coupled with the DUAL SPEED front pto to provide a change of the pto speed from 1000 to 1000ECO in the InfoCentre. ECO PTO speeds at the rear too, allow the operator to work at partial speeds, providing clear advantages in terms of consumption and reduction of wear.

The new 7-Series hydraulic circuit is independent from the transmission lubrication circuit, while the Load Sensing pump is available with three different flow rates with up to 210 l/min. Thanks to the new CleanOil hydraulic system, there are 90l removable oil capacity. Furthermore, the electronic control of all the distributors means that they can be programmed and controlled proportionally.

The new 7-Series TTV is TIM ready, allowing two-way communication between the tractor and implements, further improving efficiency and work quality.

For the first time in this power range the DEUTZ-FAHR engineers developed for the new 7-Series TTV Front-Loader Light and ReadyKit. Together with the Profiline FZ80.1 front loader 7-Series TTV is a real loader tractor. It also has a new lifting height of more than 4.5m and a breakout force of 3770 daN.

The renewed MaxiVision cab can be equipped with an improved pneumatic suspension, a practical bar mount for the installation of additional monitors, as well as a pneumatic seat which can swivel up to 23°.

The 7-Series is equipped with the new SR20 GNSS RTK satellite receiver. The Auto-Turn function enables the tractor to turn at headlands automatically.

The iMonitor3, allows the control of all the functions of 7-Series tractors and allows data exchange with Agrirouter. New functions include Via XTEND, which allows the screen to be cast wirelessly to external tablets. The new 7-Series TTV offers as standard also a data management package and SDF Fleet Management free of charge for the first year. This allows also remote diagnostics to improve the communication flow between dealer and driver.

Depending on towing requirements, the new 7-Series TTV can be equipped with hydraulic and or pneumatic trailer brakes. The Dual Mode function allows it to connect old and new models of hydraulic braked trailers. The advanced Trailer Brake Management (aTBM) optimizes trailer braking performance. An engine brake is also available, which activates the E-visco fan to increase the deceleration capacity.
